Student Accommodation - Nottingham

Graduation House provides 163 student beds close to the University of Nottingham, providing students with modern accommodation, great transport links via Nottingham's NET tram network as well as extra facilities including a fully kitted gym and on site laundry facility.

Liberty systems carried out the full package from design through to commissioning and comprehensive client handover of a fully open protocol fire detection and alarm system designed to meet the needs of the client, building regulations and the fire strategy.

Using market leading open protocol fire alarm control panels from Advanced Electronics and detection equipment from Apollo Fire, we were able to provide a comprehensive fire detection and alarm system including full cause and effect programming and integrations to other systems including sprinklers, smoke control and fire doors.

To ensure safety we also provided 24 hour central station monitoring (ARC) designed to notify building management of fault and fire conditions within the building as well as confirmed fire monitoring via the sprinkler system for fire brigade response, designed to protect the buildings occupants and notify emergency services whilst reducing the chance of false alarms to a minimum.
