Professional Fire Alarm Systems for Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities
Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities
Reliable Fire Alarm Solutions for Factories, Manufacturing Plants and Industrial Premises
Industrial and manufacturing environments present unique fire safety challenges. From heavy machinery and electrical equipment to production lines, combustible materials and hazardous processes, these premises require reliable fire detection systems that protect people, minimise disruption and support business continuity.
At Liberty Systems, we provide BAFE Accredited fire alarm Design, Installation, maintenance, servicing and fault repairs for industrial and manufacturing facilities across the East Midlands.
Whether you operate a small workshop, a large manufacturing plant or a multi-unit industrial site, we deliver fire alarm solutions designed around your operational requirements.
Understanding the Demands of Industrial Environments
Manufacturing facilities often operate in conditions that place greater demands on fire alarm systems than standard commercial premises.
Dust, heat, vibration, humidity and high ceilings can all affect the performance of fire detection equipment if systems are not designed and installed correctly.
Our engineers consider the specific characteristics of your premises, selecting suitable detection methods and system layouts that provide reliable protection while helping to minimise false alarms and unnecessary disruption to production.
Fire Alarm Systems Designed Around Your Operations
Every industrial facility operates differently, which is why we take the time to understand your processes before recommending a solution.
Whether you're constructing a new facility, extending an existing production area or upgrading an ageing fire alarm system, we design and install systems in accordance with the recommendations of BS 5839-1:2025, taking into account your building layout, production processes, occupancy and operational risks.
Where needed, systems can be integrated with other building services and life safety systems to provide a coordinated response in the event of a fire, providing automatic shutdown, unlocking of doors, activation of smoke vents and monitoring of sprinkler systems.
Installation, Maintenance and System Upgrades
We provide a complete range of fire alarm services to support industrial businesses throughout the life of their fire alarm system.
From the initial site survey and system design through to installation, commissioning and user training, our experienced engineers deliver professional workmanship with minimal disruption to your day-to-day operations.
We also carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, system modifications and upgrades, helping ensure your fire alarm system remains reliable, compliant and ready to perform when it's needed most.
Where work needs to be completed around production schedules, we can often arrange visits outside normal operating hours to help reduce downtime.
A fire alarm fault can interrupt operations, cause downtime and compromise building safety.
Our engineers provide prompt fault diagnosis and repairs, helping restore your system to full working order as quickly as possible.
Whether you're experiencing recurring faults, detector issues, power supply problems or false alarms, we'll identify the cause and recommend the most appropriate solution.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you work around our production schedule?
Yes. We understand that downtime can be costly. Wherever possible, we'll work with you to schedule installation or maintenance at times that minimise disruption to your operations.
Can you upgrade an existing fire alarm system?
Yes. We can assess your current system and recommend practical upgrades where equipment has become obsolete, unreliable or no longer meets your operational needs.
Do you maintain systems installed by another contractor?
Absolutely. We regularly maintain and repair fire alarm systems originally installed by other companies, subject to an initial assessment.
An initial assessment may be required as there are some systems which we don't cover but most will be fine.
We also hold replacement and emergency stock for systems that we maintain to further limit any downtime.
Can you support future site expansions?
Yes. If your facility expands or production areas change, we can modify or extend your existing fire alarm system to suit your new layout and operational requirements.
